About Our Breeding Program
WHAT SETS US APART FROM THE REST:
At A Dog’s Odyssey, we take pride in doing things differently—putting quality, ethics, and care above all else.
We don’t rush the process. Our mothers aren’t bred until they’re fully mature at two years old, and only after completing comprehensive OFA health testing for hips, elbows, heart, and eyes, along with full genetic screening for hereditary conditions.
Each mother has just one litter in her lifetime and then retires to enjoy life as a beloved family companion. Because of this approach, our litters are small—typically 2 to 4 puppies—and spaced out every 2 to 4 years. This time allows us to continually improve our breeding program, deepen our knowledge in dog health, training, and nutrition, and ensure every puppy we raise has the very best start. Our mothers are nourished with a premium, pasture-raised raw diet and receive daily exercise, attention, and care from experienced handlers—because great puppies start with healthy, happy moms.

After day 3 puppies receive Early Neurological Stimulation Program to improve cardio vascular performance, stronger heart beats, stronger adrenal glands, more tolerance to stress, and greater resistance to disease. We understand the puppy stages can be the most difficult and rewarding time, with our basic puppy package our puppies are sent home only when they are confidently potty trained, along with basic commands (earliest 8 weeks - 16 weeks).

Fully trained puppies stay with us for up to 7 months to train until fully train to stays, avoid counter surfing, walking without pulling or reactions! This includes off leashing privileges. Price of our puppy is $11,500+HST. It would be the same process above plus more! ​​

All about Athena
Athena is a F2 -Cockapoo with a little mix of Bichon Frise. She was selected from our 2022 litter because of her calm and affectionate personality. The first to cuddle in your lap, truly as sweet as pie. Athena enjoys playing with her ball and sticks.
She's obedience trained by dog experts. She can sit, stand, down, stay on command, as well as other commands like "place" which sends her to a target. Athena weighs 24 lbs and fed our line of completely raw diet.

Marlo has been chosen to be our stud 2025 because of his calm yet playful temperament. Marlo is the perfect medium dog, weighing 27 lbs and has the most amazing genetics clear of any genetic illnesses. He lives in Southern Utah as a stud dog for Dennett's Doodles. Who have been breeding high quality Doodles since 2019! They have the most amazing Early Neurological Stimulation Program, that they start their puppies off after Day 3.
