A dog's dental hygiene is important. How will they eat without teeth? Our dogs depend on their oral health to eat and enjoy life. They also rely on us to make the best informed decision for them. So, how can we can protect our canine's teeth?
We love raw! Kibble tends to stick to gums and teeth increasing the risk of gingivitis. Our raw does the opposite! The spongy bones in our recipes help break down that tartar, along with brushing their teeth. We aren't a huge fan of Greenies and other processed dental treats because it's high calories and use of wheat.
We used deer antlers in the past, but resulted in two cracked teeth. To avoid more damages and a grander vet bill, we use an enzymatic tooth paste and Healthy Gums Drop. When we aren't able to maintain the cleaning ourself, we get our dog's teeth professionally by Kissable K9 Care. We love this service because don't use any anesthesia. They are experienced with different breeds of dogs, make it up and is affordable!
